Our Board of Directors is comprised of volunteers who are elected for 1, 2, and 3 year terms by members of good standing in our Woodland Hills HOA. A homeowner’s association needs an active Board of Directors to conduct association business on behalf of the community. As the governing body, the board of directors exercises general oversight of all aspects of the association’s business, conduct regular meetings, and manage and enforce the bylaws and Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs).

To properly operate the HOA, board members must deal in good faith on behalf of all homeowners, and they must exercise reasonable judgement. It is the board of director’s responsibility to make sure the association’s money is collected, its bills are paid, its property is maintained and operated efficiently, and that violations of the association’s deed restrictions and governing documents are properly addressed.

Board responsibilities also include reviewing association bank statements, preparing and distributing to the members an annual budget, and preparing and distributing financial statements. Other responsibilities of the board of directors are set forth in the association’s governing documents and the laws of the state of Texas.

Our Board of Directors are elected to serve and protect our community, our property values, and our investments.
